Creating a Companion Banner Ad
Companion banners are images that can be used to accompany in stream or gateway ads. Once the companion banner has been created it needs to be tied to an in-stream or gateway ad before it is displayed.
Click the Ad Management tab, then the Campaigns sub-tab, then select Active Campaigns. |
Note: Companion banners must have a resolution of 300 x 250 pixels if you are using the AmperWave Streaming Web Player, or 300 x 50 for mobile devices.
1.On the Active Campaigns screen, select the campaign for which you want to create an ad.
2.Hover your mouse over + Add A New Ad in the upper right of the screen.
A menu of ad types appears.
3.Click + New Compannion Banner.
4.In General Info, enter the Banner Name and Banner Description.
5.In Business Info, enter the CPM and CPC.
6.In Display Info, select Dimensions and Banner Type.
7.In Image File, click Select File, and then select the image you want from your folders.
Note: The Image URL field automatically fills in once a file is selected.
8. In Click Thru URL, enter the URL you want the banner to lead to when clicked.
9.Optional: In Tracking URL, enter a URL for a 3rd party tracking service.
10.Click Create.
A confirmation message appears.
