You can assign creatives to ads in a campaign individually, or assign creatives to multiple ads in the same campaign at once. You can also use this process to update existing creatives across multiple ads.
Click the Ad Management tab, then the Campaigns sub-tab, then select Active Campaigns. |
To assign one or more creatives to multiple ads:
1.On the Active Campaigns screen, select the campaign that includes the ads to which you want to assign a creative, or whose creatives you want to edit.
Note: Creatives that already have impressions cannot be edited. If a creative has impressions, it will not be included in the list to edit.
2.Click Assign Media to Ads.
The Assign Creatives to Ads dialog appears.
3.In Ad Type, select the type of ads you want to change (in-stream or gateway).
4.In the table listing the ads, select whether to update an existing creative file (use the dropdown menu to select the file to update), add a New file, or make No Changes to each ad.
To make a selection for all ads at once, use the checkboxes at the top of the columns.
For example, if you want to update an existing creative present in all the ads, check the box at the top of that column. You need to select which creative to update if an ad has multiple creatives.
Note: If you select to update an existing creative file for some ads and add a new file for others, the new file will be added to all selected ads, not just the ones where you selected New. The new file will not be added to any ads for which you selected No Changes.
5.Click Next.
The Creative Details page appears.
6.For details on the different fields and what they mean, please see the Ad Creatives Tab Help topic.
7.When you have made all necessary changes and uploaded any necessary files, click Next.
The Confirm Changes page appears.
8.Check the list of ads and changes to make sure you have everything set the way you want.
To cancel individual changes, deselect them by unchecking the Apply Changes box for their row.
To return to the previous page and make changes, click Previous.
9.Click Finish.
•If you are adding a new creative to multiple ads, set the name, start and end dates, weighting, status, and companion banners on the Creative Details page.
•Any changes made in the Creative Name, Weighting, Status, or Companion Banners fields will be applied to the creatives being edited in all selected ads, overriding any existing settings.
•If you are setting start and end dates, your new dates must be within all of the ads' existing flight dates. If there are no flight dates where all the ads you are editing overlap, you cannot edit the start and end dates.
•Weighting can only be edited if all selected ads have custom weighting.
•Companion banners can only be added if all the creatives you are editing are new or if none of them have companion banners.
