In AmperWave Streaming, there are three models used to stream broadcast content:
1.Simulcast: Stream the exact same content that's being broadcast locally.
In this model, a user using a radio and a user using the station's web player receive exactly the same content, both programming and ads.
2.Ad Replacement: Stream the same programming, but replace all of the ads with online-specific ads while keeping the other content the same.
In this model, a user using a radio and a user using the station's web player receive the same programming, but different ads.
3.In-Market Simulcast: Stream the same content that's being broadcast in the station's home market, and stream the same programming but replace some or all ads outside the home market. Individual ads for in-market users can be marked for replacement (for example, when the station doesn't have the rights to stream a particular ad).
In this model, a user using a radio and a local user using the station's web player would receive the same content, both programming and ads, but an out-of-state or out-of-city user using the station's web player would receive the same programming, but different ads.
