Creating a Source

Sources distribute your content. Common sources include iTunes, Stitcher, and Google Play.

Click the Settings tab, then the Sources sub-tab.

To create a new source:

1.On the Sources page, click Create Source.
The Create Source dialog appears.

2.Fill in the Source Info fields.
For details about each field, expand the table below by clicking the plus Plus_In_Circle.

Item or Field

Description

Name

Name the new source.

Source Slug

An HTML-friendly identifier for the source. No spaces or special characters.

Assign to future shows

If this is enabled, this source will be assigned to any new shows created in the system.

AmperWave Streaming Station ID

Obtain this value from AmperWave Podcasting Support.  This field is used to input the station ID in the AmperWave Podcasting Console for this show and is used to target ads to this show.

3.Click Next.

4.Select existing shows whose new episodes are published to this source.

5.Click Next.

6.Select existing shows whose existing episodes will be published to this source.

7.Click Finish.
