A stream down alert is an email sent to a predetermined list of people notifying them that AmperWave Streaming is no longer receiving stream fragments from a given station. The alert is triggered when we haven’t received streaming fragments for more than one minute. Alerts are sent every 15 minutes for up to an hour or until the stream reconnects whichever happens first. An “Okay” email is sent when the stream reconnects.
